Great small town fresh coffee and cafe foods. Muffins are homemade and delicious. Lots of choices. Great friendly service, quick to please and make changes to menu items to accommodate you. Very well appointed on a creek with outdoor seating and charming decor. A must stop in when in Broadalbin.
We've frequented this fantastically cute breakfast diner many times since it opened. Menu is solid, having all you'd expect. Prices are commensurate with diner establishments in the area. Highest marks on friendly, welcoming atmosphere! What could be better is turn-time: Meals are cooked one at a time, no matter how long the queue is (see pic). I've waited well over an hour when crowded so if you've got stuff to do, be aware. When not super busy, all is great and this is your sweet spot.
My wife and I went for lunch with two other couples. Food, atmosphere and service was terrific! We were there in the fall and the pumpkin pancakes were delicious!!!
We had breakfast at the charming Back On Track Cafe yesterday morning. The good was excellent-- my wife & I had the "All Aboard" breakfast which came with two eggs, sausage or bacon and home fries with peppers & onions, perfectly prepared and delicious. The show stopper, however, were the bagels! Originally from Queens I'm a bit of a bagel snob so I was thrilled to find such great bagels locally! Perfectly chewy with a shiny crust, these are the best I've had in a very long time-- so good we got extras to take home with us. The staff and owner were wonderful and the place itself was very cute with seating inside and on a lovely patio outside. Back On Track is a "must stop" for breakfast and lunch at the Lake!
We went here for breakfast and lunch. Made to order breakfast and lunch. Fresh coffee, and flavors but no espresso machines, so Americana coffee currently is the offering. Sodas, milk, teas, etc are available too. Friendly staff and owner. If don't see something on the menu for a standard American breakfast, can always ask if possible (I'm told). I love it's in a old train station and has been reopened by this new business! Best chicken salad sandwich in the tri-county. Yummy breakfast sandwiches too! Support local small business if in the Broadalbin, NY area. And, there is a park nearby, antique stores etc.
Great food, friendly service, adorable and cozy atmosphere. So happy to see a new cafe in town. Must check it out!

First time visiting here and what a memorable experience. The staff were wonderful and friendly, they treated my family like they have known us forever. Now let's talk about the food, very fast from ordering to serving. The food was fresh and delicious, absolutely the best in town. The portions were plenty and I like that they allow you to make your own coffee your way with all the options they have. Couldn't be happier with the experience we had!!
